Michael C. Muhlbauer, DVM, MS, DACVR

 

Dr. Muhlbauer received his DVM degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.  He was in private practice for 5 years before returning to academia.  In 1992, Dr. Muhlbauer completed a dual residency program at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in Radiology and Veterinary Bioscience/Nuclear Medicine.  That same year he earned his MS degree and became Board Certified in Radiology.  During his tenure at the University of Illinois, Dr. Muhlbauer received the Outstanding Teacher and Outstanding Clinician awards.  Dr. Muhlbauer is a member of the AVMA, ACVR, MVMA, FLVMA, GSLVMA, and Chair of the ACVR Committee for Public Relations.  He is the author of numerous articles, presentations, lectures, and a textbook on Veterinary Radiology.

Sean R. Freer, DVM, MS, DACVR

 

Dr. Freer originally hails from Northeastern Pennsylvania.  He earned his B.S. in Animal Science at Cornell University in 2001 and stayed in Ithaca another 4 years earn his DVM.  He completed a rotating small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, NJ in 2006, returned to Cornell for his radiology residency and has been board-certified since 2009.  He served as radiologist at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ from 2009 to 2011.  Dr. Freer now serves as radiologist at Pierper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown, CT.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn son, dog and cat, and occasionally manages to sneak away for some time in the kayak , fishing rod and hand.
